Where is Prevailent T-80 sold?
Prevailent T-80 is primarily sold on Amazon, but if interested in bulk ordering or distributing the product at a retail location, contact us at info@novasentllc.com
How to apply Prevailent T-80?
Remove inner seal, attach twist top applicator, and shake bottle gently. Apply small amount of adhesive on build surface. Use sponge brush to smooth the adhesive over the designated print area.
Is Prevailent T-80 safe to use?
Prevailent T-80 has been tested by an independent lab and is certified safe-to-use when used as intended.
How to clean up when using Prevailent T-80?
To clean build surface and parts, wet towel or cloth with water and wipe away from surface.
To clean brush, rinse with water and wring out excess.
What filaments can be printed with?
We have tested Prevailent T-80 with PLA, ABS, PETG, and TPU. Other filaments are being tested regularly.
What bed surfaces can be printed on?
You can print on borosilicate glass, PEI®, Buildtak, Kapton®, and blue painter’s tape. We also will have our own bed surfaces, which can be printed on. We are in the process of testing on metal beds.
What can I do if I am having adhesion issues?
Thoroughly clean bed surface and check leveling.
Slicer settings may need to be tweaked, use a brim for additional adhesion strength.
You can also try applying Prevailent T-80 while the bed is cold and then heating the bed. This results in a stronger hold but may also make part release more difficult.
Try applying a second layer after the first has formed a hard film.
What can I do if my part is difficult to remove from build surface?
While Prevailent T-80 normally will release the part with no assistance, here are some methods, which can assist if a problem arises.
Humidity can have a major effect on the release of a part. If the printer is not in a temperature controlled room then humidity could cause a part to remain adhered, especially if the part is not removed shortly after printing. One solution to this is to reheat the bed, which should help to release the part.
Another solution for parts which remain adhered to the bed surface, is to apply water around the edges of the part, which should help with removal of the part. Allow water to penetrate under the part, which may take a few minutes. Use spatula provided if needed to assist in the removal of the part.
